Recording Project

Record a 30 sec clip of yourself reading or speaking something (doesn't matter what you say; it can be in any language). You MUST use either the Rode NT1-A or a Shure KSM141 mic (these are the two condensers I showed in class), connected to the MOTU 828mk3 interface (the black box next to the computer), and record into Logic. You should also use a pop screen to avoid "pop" sounds while speaking consonants. The recording should be clean of environmental noise, sufficiently loud (check your levels!), and never clip.

Remember to book the studio on Google cal.

Edit the recording to remove any silence at the beginning and at the end, and bounce it as a WAV or AIFF file (16bit, 44.1kHz).
